Her career journey commenced as a medical administrator at a local hospital in Champaign, IL, where she dedicated a decade of service. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Minnie delved deeper into the healthcare industry, eventually realizing her desire to work directly alongside patients. This led her to transition into roles such as a PCA (Patient Care Assistant), staffing manager, recruiter, and healthcare advocate.
However, it was a serendipitous moment when a colleague and friend encouraged her to apply for a dental office administrative position, despite her initial reluctance due to contentment in her current role. Nevertheless, upon applying, Ms. Minnie found herself presented with an incredible opportunity on the spot by a Fortune 500 dental company.
This pivotal moment marked the beginning of Ms. Minnie’s remarkable journey within the dental industry, where her passion for people and dedication to excellence continue to drive her forward.
Ms. Minnie embarked on her healthcare administrative services journey, marked by a significant milestone when she received a National Star Registry recognition from Dr. Jackson Kuo of Heartland Dental. This recognition was a testament to her dedication and contributions to the healthcare industry.
Subsequently, her outstanding achievements garnered further acclaim when she was nominated for the prestigious Women of Distinction award, ultimately emerging as a winner. Her remarkable success story was featured in the national magazine of Business Professional Women, solidifying her reputation as a trailblazer in her field.
Ms. Minnie’s remarkable ability to empower, motivate, and uplift others has propelled her onto even greater platforms. She has graced the stage alongside esteemed personalities such as Grammy-award winner Fred Hammond, James Fortune & Fiya, Bryan Wilson, and Sunday’s Best- Maurice Griffin, among others. Why I Became a Dental Front Office Administrator Instructor/Coach:
I chose to become a Dental Front Office Administrator Instructor/Coach because I thrive on the unknown. Every day presents new challenges, and my motto has always been to “Be prepared for the unexpected and go above and beyond what’s expected.”
Growing up, I struggled with retaining information due to being diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I lacked the support system to guide me through my challenges. However, as I matured, I realized there were others like me who needed personalized support and guidance on their journey to becoming administrative professionals within the oral healthcare industry.
Driven by my passion to help others, I embarked on a mission to transform the lives of those who faced similar learning obstacles. As a National Career Certified Provider, administrative assistant coach, and instructor, I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on my students’ lives. I attribute all my success to my faith, and I am humbled to have found my calling.
Coaching and training are not just professions for me; they are my life’s purpose. Empowering individuals and witnessing their transformation into extraordinary office professionals brings me immense joy. Throughout my career, I have continually pushed myself to excel, realizing that by doing so, I can better assist others in achieving their goals.
